Promote your music with managed Facebook advertising

ORB's Facebook music promotion option uses managed Meta advertising to introduce eligible artist content to selected audiences. Artists choose the campaign inputs and fund advertising separately from distribution. Delivery can include Facebook and Instagram according to supported settings; a campaign is not a promise of streams or a Facebook-only placement.

When is Facebook music advertising useful?

Facebook advertising can be one way to test whether a selected audience responds to a song, video or artist message. It is most useful when the creative has a clear purpose and the destination gives interested people an obvious next step.

Before choosing a channel, compare your material, intended audience and destination. A music-video campaign on YouTube and a Meta campaign can serve different creative needs; neither is automatically better for every artist.

What should I check before paying for a Meta campaign?

  • Audience and countries

Use the available targeting controls and a clear audience hypothesis. A local launch and an international discovery test may need different locations and creative.

  • Creative and identity

Confirm the supplied image or video, ad text and the supported advertising identity. Provider review may reject or limit content even after ORB review.

  • Destination

Open the intended link yourself. It should load on mobile, describe the promoted music accurately and avoid unnecessary steps before the promised content.

  • Quote and reporting

Review media budget, campaign fees, total charge and funding mode. Use actual provider-reported results, not an assumed conversion from impressions to streams.

Is this playlist pitching or automatic organic growth?

No. ORB's managed Meta service is advertising, not playlist pitching, purchased engagement or a guarantee of organic recommendations. You keep responsibility for the permissions and accuracy of supplied material.

Advertising buys an opportunity to reach people, not guaranteed streams, followers, subscribers, sales or playlist placements. Provider review, audience response and destination quality affect delivery and outcomes.

Review campaign reports before funding another test. Reusing a creative with poor response does not become a better strategy simply by adding budget; consider whether the audience, message and destination fit each other.

How do I start a music promotion campaign with ORB?

  1. Create an artist account

Open your ORB workspace and choose Campaigns. Campaign access is available on every plan, including Free; advertising is separately funded.

  2. Prepare a campaign

Choose Meta or Google/YouTube Ads, an eligible destination and creative, your audience and locations, a duration and a budget. Use material you own or have permission to advertise.

  3. Review the quote and submit

Check the media budget, separate fees, currency and total before payment. ORB reviews submitted campaigns; the advertising provider also applies its own review and eligibility rules.

  4. Follow delivery and results

Use the campaign's View Progress report for available provider-reported metrics. Review the reporting period and missing-data labels before deciding whether another campaign is worthwhile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Facebook music promotion include Instagram?
ORB's Meta campaigns can deliver across Facebook and Instagram according to supported placement settings and eligibility. Review the actual campaign options rather than assuming a single-platform placement.
Does paying start my Facebook campaign immediately?
No. ORB reviews the submitted campaign, and Meta applies its own review and delivery rules. Payment alone does not mean the campaign is active.
Can I choose the countries for my music ad?
Artists can choose supported location targeting in the campaign setup. Availability, audience size and provider policies affect where the ad can deliver.
Can I promote music with a Free ORB account?
Yes. ORB Campaigns is available on every subscription plan, including Free. Advertising has its own budget and payment requirements; a Free account does not include free ad spend.
Does ORB guarantee streams or playlist placements?
Advertising buys an opportunity to reach people, not guaranteed streams, followers, subscribers, sales or playlist placements. Provider review, audience response and destination quality affect delivery and outcomes.
